We recently had the pleasure of taking part in “Votre Argent: Spécial PME”, broadcast on La Télé, where we introduced our veterinary service and shared the day-to-day realities of building a young business on the Vaud Riviera.
This programme provided an opportunity to take you behind the scenes of our day-to-day work, out in the field, visiting pet owners and their animals in their own homes.
A veterinary practice that adapted during its launch
The original Vétéo project was to open a veterinary practice in Montreux. However, due to administrative delays in obtaining the necessary change of use for the premises, we quickly had to adapt the way we worked.
Rather than waiting, we chose to fully develop our home veterinary consultation service in Montreux and across the Vaud Riviera.
Today, we visit dogs, cats and other small companion animals directly in their homes for a wide range of consultations, including general medicine, vaccinations, blood tests, chronic disease management, ultrasound examinations, senior pet care and end-of-life support.
This approach also allows us to care for pets in the comfort of their familiar surroundings, reducing the stress associated with travelling and waiting at the practice.

Behind the scenes of our home veterinary consultations
The programme follows part of our day-to-day work, offering a real insight into what happens during our home veterinary visits.
A huge thank you to our patients Maurice and Stitch, who were exemplary in front of the cameras, and to their owners for their trust.
Through these images, you will gain a closer look at the way we work, our mobile practice model, and the challenges of developing a veterinary service that operates directly in pet owners’ homes.
Entrepreneurship is also about adapting
The programme also explores a key question for young businesses: what management tools are essential for launching and growing an SME?
This entrepreneurial journey has taught us that the best tools are, above all, reliable, flexible and accessible wherever you are. When you work in the field every day, it is essential to be able to manage your practice without relying on a fixed office.
Behind the tools, however, it is the human element that remains fundamental. For a small business, having reliable, responsive partners who are there to help when the unexpected happens often makes all the difference.
