From 3 to 18 July 2026, Montreux will be moving to the rhythm of the 60th edition of the Montreux Jazz Festival. Throughout the Festival, Vétéo will remain open during its usual hours and will continue to provide home veterinary consultations in Montreux and across the Vaud Riviera.

Whether you live in the area or are simply visiting Montreux on holiday with your dog or cat, we remain available to care for your pet whenever needed.

On holiday in Montreux with your dog or cat?

Every summer, many visitors stay in Montreux and around Lake Geneva to enjoy the Festival, the lake and the Vaud Riviera. And of course, our pets come on holiday with us too.

Unfortunately, health problems can arise at any time: digestive upset, lameness, pain, skin irritation, ear problems, injuries, unusual lethargy, or simply the need for veterinary advice.

If your dog or cat develops a health problem during your stay in Montreux, you can contact Vétéo so that we can assess the situation and arrange a consultation whenever it falls within the scope of the care we provide.

Home veterinary consultations during the Montreux Jazz Festival

Throughout the Montreux Jazz Festival 2026, from 3 to 18 July, we continue to provide home visits across the Vaud Riviera.

Home veterinary consultations can be particularly convenient when you are on holiday with your pet:

  • your dog is in pain or having difficulty moving;
  • your cat becomes stressed by travelling;
  • you are staying temporarily in Montreux and are unfamiliar with the local veterinary practices;
  • you would prefer to avoid taking your pet through a particularly busy town during the Festival;
  • you need an English-speaking vet to visit you directly at your place of stay.

Depending on the situation and our availability, we can visit your pet directly in Montreux, Territet, Clarens, Brent and throughout the Vaud Riviera, including Blonay, St-Légier, La Tour-de-Peilz, Vevey, Villeneuve, Veytaux and the surrounding area.

Vétéo remains open from 3 to 18 July 2026

The Montreux Jazz Festival does not affect our usual opening hours.

Throughout this 60th edition, Vétéo – Veterinary Practice Montreux remains open and continues to provide consultations as well as home veterinary visits across the Vaud Riviera.

If you are concerned about your dog’s or cat’s health during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can advise you.
